Neven Maguire Cookery Demo & Artisan Food and Craft Fair

On Wednesday the 26th of April Claremorris Golf Club welcomed celebrity chef Neven Maguire to a packed Town Hall for a cookery demonstration.  Achill Island Sea Salt, along with many other artisan food producers including Cuinneog Butter, Velvet Cloud Sheep's Yogurt, Donegal Rapeseed Oil, and The Galway Food Company were invited to take a food stall to showcase our products at the event.

As always Neven never fails to disappoint and cooked up a storm on the night using produce from the many of local producers, including Achill Island Sea Salt!

Bloom In The Park

Achill Island Sea Salt was delighted to exhibit for the first time at Bord Bia’s Bloom in The Park in June 2015. We were privileged to showcase our Sea Salt in the Artisan Food Producer Tent alongside many other great Irish food producers.

Marjorie had the opportunity to speak with Ella McSweeney in the Bord Bia main state about our product and after which the award winning Irish chef Neven Maguire used Achill Island Sea Salt in his cooking demonstration.

It was a fantastic event and we hope to be back next year!

Fair enough, says The Menu, just as long as the Judicious Man is also cute enough to plump for Achill Sea Salt, soft little flakes of hand-harvested sea salt from Ireland’s west coast, that melt on the tongue and set the tastebuds a-salivating.
